CoCo Hair Designs seeks Crisis Interventionist (AKA Stylist)

We’re looking for new talent!

Here at CoCo Hair Designs we’ve worked hard since 1995 to build and maintain thriving business. With a clientele of over 4000 people (I know – are there even that many people in Niceville!?!?) we’re booked solid with a waiting list a mile long!

Clearly this crisis requires immediate resolution!

Do you hold a valid cosmetology or Master Barber license? Are you looking for a salon that offers flexibility in your schedule, competitive commission, paid vacation (for full time employees), and fun, informative classes? We may be a good fit for you!

Our ideal candidate will have an active Cosmetology or Master Barber license and will share our commitment to the 3 P’s…promptness, professionalism, and positive attitude.

Why should you come work with us? CoCo Hair Designs is owned by Robyn Cole who has worked behind the chair consistently for 30 years (yeah- she gets it). So you’ll probably find our policies and practices are quite different than what you’re used to!

• We provide full time reception staff who keep the front desk running smoothly. You won’t have to leave a client to answer the phone, or book an appointment for another technician. You’ll have more time doing what you love- hair. And you’ll be able to give your client the attention they deserve.

• We provide everything you’ll need to work. Just bring your tools and your smiling face.

• While we fully support self promotion, we take care of advertising for the salon, including social media, and a fantastic website. We are also content creators for 2 local magazines which really gets a lot of attention!

• We won’t throw you to the wolves! Every employee is provided with a handbook (updated every year) that outlines our policies, procedures, and expectations. We’ll also provide training if needed. So you’ll never feel lost or unprepared.

• We follow the law and contribute to our employees taxes as all good employers should (NO 1099’s here)!

How important is skill level? Not super important. We are open to meeting candidates in any stage of their career. Just out of Cosmetology school? We have an amazing assistant program for people just starting out. Have you been doing hair for a few years and have a small clientele, but want more? Come on over! Have a lot of experience and a full book, but just want a better place to work? We’ll make room for you and your clients.
