Children in the salon

To all of our valued guests, we have a new policy regarding children in the salon. We write this with the utmost respect to our guests who are parents, as most of our staff are parents as well.

Moving forward, children will not be allowed on the main floor of the salon unless they have an appointment. Children may sit up front in the waiting area as long as they are supervised by someone (over the age of 12) not receiving a service. Children 12 and older may sit in the waiting area by themselves. We strongly recommend not bringing children at all if your service is expected to take longer than 45 minutes. Even the most well behaved children can find this daunting. Additionally, we encourage scheduling appointments for children under the age of 12 separate from parents so that the child is not left unsupervised during the parent’s appointment. We strive to provide a safe and relaxing experience for all of our guests. The main floor of our salon is a very busy place. We work with sharp scissors and razors, chemicals, and hot tools that can reach temperatures exceeding 450 degrees! We do not have a designated area for children, nor do we have the staff available to keep an eye on them while you receive your service.

We feel this policy will ensure a safer environment of our youngest guests, as well as our staff. We want all of our guests to feel welcome, and we count safety as top priority.
